OSUSU Legislative Council Suspend SU President and his closest ally.

On the 9th, August 2023 the highest legislative

body in the university association passed a resolution to suspend the Osun State Student Union President - Comr. Olawoyin Isaac Feranmi who was allegedly charged with truncating the

continuity of the association and they ensured to put to stop to this by pursuant of Article 3[4]a

Here are the highlighted allegations ;

• "The President and His General Secretary were alleged to have masterminded, conspired and cooked lies by raising false alarm over the threat of external factors conspired to the school management to put the Students Union Election on hold which earlier schedule to hold on 9th August, 2023.

• Misappropriation Of Funds; The President and his cabinet never made available the system used in payment of dues which from report had been slashed in away not known to the Congress in accordance with article 2[7][VII] of the constitution

• Lack of Respect For the Constitution: it has been recorded on several occasions that strict compliance to the ruling of the constitution has not been maintained and also that the President and His General Secretary has withdrawn from the Union account without the knowledge of the Legislative Councils.

On this note the Legislative Council ordered the suspension of the President- Comr. Olawoyin Feranmi Isaac (Zeeco) and his General Secretary Comr. Adeniyi Michael. And they ordered that both the Vice President and the Asst. Gen. Secretary be installed as the Acting President and Acting General Secretary with immediate effect.
