NIMELSSA ORIENTATION (maiden edition)

Maiden edition of the Nigeria Medical Laboratory Science Student Association Uniosun Chapter took place at the 750 lecture theater

The President, Sandra Aimalohi opens the floor of the program by giving the opening speech and expressing her appreciation to all student who attended the program and welcoming all the special guests to the stage .

Special Guests of honour include the Vice Chancellor, Provost, Dean( Basic Medical Sciences), Head of Department ( Prof. Akanni), Lecturers(Dr. Kosamat, Mr. Samuel, Miss Cinderella,Dr. Atere , Mr. Adesiyan and many more).

Amongst all, Mr. Samuel and Dr. Kosamat were present to represent those in absential.

Dr. Kosamat talks on the importance of Health amongst student as it helps academically, starting from the origin, mental health and personal hygiene. He also emphasized on the effects of eating "noodles and spaghetti" which he labelled as junk food, as he urges all student to eat well.

He also in his statement appreciated the association executives making possible the advent of this program especially at this particular time when they are preparing for their forthcoming examination.

Mr. Samuel also talks more on "Coming together as a Student " . He also added as quoted:

"In the Academic settings you need to Learn, Relearn and Unlearn somethings to move forward in the University"

Also part of his statement was coming together as a body by preventing any form of cracks in the wall, as he said, the progress of the association depends on all student, he also urged all student to work hand in hand with the executives to ensure the progress of the association by helping those closest to us.

The Closing remarks was done by the vice- president, Comr. Azeez Ahmad where he appreciated the presence of each and everyone of the student present.
