NANS JCC OSUN AXIS DEBUNKS THE RUMOUR CLAIMS ON ACCUSATIONS OF OSUN STATE GOVERNMENT

The leadership of NANS JCC Osun Axis has been alerted to a blog release which erroneously implicates the Axis as a signatory to the memo that accused Osun State government of egregious reneging on promises. As the vanguard of the students' community, NANS JCC OSUN AXIS compelled to address this critical issue that has the potential to undermine the very fabric of students' power and welfare in the State, if not tackled with utmost urgency. They also made the claims that some individuals could brazenly sideline the legitimate leadership of the association in making a press release is a stark reminder of the anarchy that lurks in the shadows, waiting to pounce on the unsuspecting students' community.

In the memo passed by the NANS JCC OSUN Axis where they stated that they are equally addressing the simmering discontent among students, who are dissatisfied with Osun State government's lackluster handling of issues that affect them. And also taking cognizant of how the State government has failed to implement policies that could better the lives of students in the State. However, in light of all this they also claimed to totally dissociate themselves from the release made by some individuals who seek to exploit the students' struggle for personal gain. As their leadership is guided by the principles of serving the interests of students, and will not be swayed by personal agendas.

We equally stated that some persons within the government, in cahoots with some individuals, seek to sideline the leadership of NANS JCC Osun Axis because they felt they have refused to compromise the struggles of students. They believe that by silencing us, they would achieve their nefarious agenda. However, we are progressive-minded individuals who cannot be deterred by such antics - Comr. Oladapo Taiwo

 They urge the general public, particularly the students of higher institutions in Osun State, to disregard the release as a conspiracy to serve the personal agenda of some persons. The leadership of the Axis also emphasized that they are unaware of the release, and they never authorized anyone to make a statement on our behalf. , They urged the students' community to remain calm as they are critically examining the matter.
